Synthesising diverse data sets through discovery and blueprinting
The National Archives owns and partners with multiple libraries and depositary collections. Providing uniform access to diverse black history content collections whilst also offering uniform search and filtering required fresh thinking and meticulous gathering of user needs.
We led detailed discovery sessions and iterated through prototyping the to-be service. The revised capability provided easy surfacing of content, related content and suggested content for new reading.

It was wonderful working with Panlogic on this project; they engaged with our project partners well and produced a thorough report and an excellent prototype that will surely help the future of our particular project in creating a Digital Black History Portal, and future endeavours with other marginalised narratives held in archives.
